AMRAAM_Missiles Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 The M/MH Sparrow seems to always loft in the F-15C until it reached down about 5 or so miles. This would make high aspect shot nearly impossible. This seems to be a long-standing bug and i remembered that it was reported before but i can't find that thread again. This was the old discussion over on the subforum for the F-15C: AIM-7 Disable loft please - F-15C for DCS World - ED Forums (eagle.ru) Any updates on this would be highly appreciated. Loft engagements procedures for the sparrow require 1) Selecting LOFT 2) Pitching up 20 degrees or more Otherwise sparrow will not loft. AIM-7P might operate differently (more like a 120), but I have no information on this.
