Had twice CTDs while running a mission flying the Hornet.

Have no idea why. Please have a look.

All drivers and Windows are latest version.

The file you attached is your mission debrief. There is not crash-related messages in it.

The files I'm after are those:

  • either the dcs.log text file (may appear as "dcs")
  • or the most recent zip file

When DCS freezes eternally, it cannot generate the zip file, but you should always have a dcs.log file.

Yes, this is what I was looking for, thanks.

Alas, there's not much to read at the end: the log doesn't say what caused the crash.

However, I see in your log you have a lot of different mods installed:

  • Mods/tech/Pilot Ground/
  • Mods/tech/main/VPC_RAF_Ca...
  • Mods/tech/BFVG PACK 1
  • Mods/tech/Civil_Objects
  • Mods/tech/Insurgent-SF-4x4
  • Mods/tech/M203SOLDIER
  • Mods/tech/Scimitar
  • Mods/tech/US Navy Equipment
  • Mods/tech/USS Motor Torpedo Boat
  • Mods/tech/WASP
  • Mods/tech/main/Shapes NATO
  • Mods/tech/main/Textures NATO
  • Mods/tech/natoGF
  • ...

Many mods are not compatible with DCS 2.7 yet. Disable them in the module manager, restart DCS, and see if your mission keeps crashing DCS.

If it keeps crashing, uninstall the mods and run a DCS repair.

I noticed you "only" have 16 GB of RAM. On what map took these crashes place? I can imagine the Hornet + Syria being too much for your gaming rig, which is still a fine machine except for the low memory.

Sorry for not updating my infos. Meanwhile I have installed 32 GB of RAM. And the CTDs appeared  a while after the upgrade.
