UX usability (mouse moving camera)

I'm adding this into Wishlist, cos I don't think it's actually a bug.

I would like the logic of how the UX handles mouse input to be changed. Currently, you move the mouse around to change your view. This makes watching someone in the groove while pressing buttons on the LSO station very difficult and awkward.

I see two solutions possible here:

1. Fix the view and let people "look around" with headtracking solutions, have the mouse interact with the buttons but not pan the view around.

2. "Break out" the LSO platform as a graphic on the screen, kind of like the IFLOLS graphic. This is probably the less desirable option, as it would take away a lot of vision real estate that is needed to watch people in the groove and during the 180.

I'd be happy if people contributed with more suggestions, I'm coming up short on alternatives that are workable.
