How to send crash report?

I've been experiencing crashes for the first time in DCS, typically when exiting one server to then go and join another. I get the option to send a crash report to DCS but I'm unable to select the send option. I'm in VR so the crash notification is only visible when I remove my headset, but how do I select the send button as my cursor is not visible of the crash notification window.

Hi, 

 

if you use alt + tab you can highlight the window it will be easier to press then

 

You can also go to your saved games folder, find DCS, the the logs folder. 

 

in there there maybe a zip folder with the crash or you can attach the dcs.log here so we can take a look for clues.

I do not mean to Crash this party, but My pc has crashed three times in a row sense the new update. I hope this can help to figure out why.
One other thing I noticed, the surface of the water is now very hard to tell where it is, and I did crash once into the water. Strange that no waves
were present and it seemed calm like glass with reflections of the clouds in the sky.     thanks for taking a look !!  I did send the other 2 crashes
to DCS, but wanted to do this third one somewhere where someone could tell me if its my DXDIAG or what is wrong with My PC ?

It can have very different causes. The most obvious thing to try is to uninstall your current graphcis driver thanks to DDU, then to install the latest driver available (466.27).

Unfortunately, I receive crashes most of the time, if I exit a server, without going via role selection, it causes a crash. I'm still unable to select the "send" button when a crash occurs, the alt + tab, brings the crash window to the front, but my mouse cursor does not appear on the open crash window/send report.

I see your game is not up to date. Execute "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater.exe" to update it to latest open beta version.

 

Add these folders as exceptions in your antivirus:

I see your game is not up to date. Execute "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS_updater.exe" to update it to latest open beta version.

 

Add these folders as exceptions in your antivirus:

  • C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\
  • C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\

Latest versions numbers can be found here.

  • Your DCS_updater.exe is up to date, yes.
  • My mistake: your DCS version is also up-to-date. I was looking at your May 2nd log. You May 9th log shows the correct version (2.7.0.5659).

You most recent crashes show the second mission loading crash bug (not fixed yet).

   Well I did everything that You asked of Me Flappie, and for the most part, I have not had any problems using DCS.  This time I did overclock my GPU, so I don't 
know it that caused anything to go wrong.  I just purchased the P47 Wolfpack campaign and had just started up the engine for the 1st mission and it crashed.

  All of Us with problems sure are lucky to have someone like You to help us read the logs and inform Us of what is going on.
I build and water cool my PC, but I just have a very hard time understanding different problems with OS ( win 10 pro ) and 
things that go wrong.

***********************************************************************************************************************************************************    6:03 PM       I turned off the OC on the GPU and ran the 1st mission again. I played for 35 minutes or so, and the only problem I had
was not closing my cowling and the engine shut down. I was lucky to be near an airfield and landed and tried for a long time to
play catchup, and just as I got near my 3 plane group, the engine shut down again.  while I have a lot to learn and read, it felt so
good to at least fly with AI instead of being alone like normal.    It will be interesting to find out if the last crash of DCS was caused
by the OC of the GPU or what.      Thanks

DCS is not always keen on overclocking. When this happens, one often gets the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED message. This is your case:

you should post a new topic to assist you to solve why the crash is happening. why you cannot send the crash logs is a less important issue.
