remove all unofficial mods Steam version cannot even start after updating to 2.7 Open Beta

Cannot even see the DCS World splash screen and crashes back straight to desktop in less than 3 seconds. Reinstalling everything and see if it works or not.

Its the same here, stand alone version. Loading screen comes up, but then closes and nothing happens.

OK, solved the problem for now. You have to deactivate mods for now. I had no time to test which mod caused the crash so i deactivate them all.

Same problem here. Solved by deleting the WWI Flying Circus mod.

I reinstalled, renamed the whole savegame/dcs directory, still no go. When the game attempted to start, it created the savegames/dcs folder and only the mission folder inside and then nothing else. Very disappointing.

After extensive testing, removing and coping mods. I found for me that two mods were causing the CTD prior to launch. These were:

 

1) Rafale Mod

2) J-10A mod

 

After removing these I get solid entry to the game. I suggest you rename the saved games mod dir, create a new one and move the mods in one by one to test compatibility. I'm sure the mod makers will issue new updates to fix this soon.

please remove all unofficial mods 

 

run a full cleanup and repair or verify if steam 

 

ensure windows 10 is up to date and all drivers. 

 

if you still have problems please attach your dcs log it will give us some clues

I had the same problem - DCS 2.7 (beta) did not want to launch after the update (had disabled all mods in OVGME)
I also had the WW1 flying circus mod in my saved games folder.
After deleting this folder - game start normal

I switched to the standalone version. Clean install. Able to start in flat screen mode. Need to check with VR, though
