Avio
In this new model, I noticed the default seat height is such that the eye position is same level as the top edge of the HUD display frame, which resulted in the nose boreisght symbol (the circle pipper with a centre dot) not being visible, unless I lower my eye level. As a result, during takeoff, the horizon line is not visible. I understand the pipper can be lowered by adjusting it, but does that affect anything? Saw on youtube, most seems to be able to see the pipper when sitting on runway.
Wrench
You can press RCTRL + NUMPAD 2 to lower your view, then RALT + NUMPAD 0 to save it if you don't like the default. That way, it'll be at that position in every mission. Note that if you're using trackIR it will also include the directtion information from that, so turn it off first. In VR it doesn't matter. I'd assume the default is pretty close to how most pilots would set up since they spend most of their time looking at the ground. Carrier Script.
