Why did you prohibit printing on your checklist?

To save the trees? 🙄  ... who prints hardcopy on these times anyway? .. instead, put it on your kneeboard or on a Tablet. 🙂

I'd like to add that as kneeboard pages of the mod. Do we have author's permission?

Hi @Luiz Renault (and @dali), of course you can use it as you see fit 👍

Thanks a lot for the continuous improvements, I will enjoy the UFCP bindings, to be able to inout values more easily using the keyboard’s numeric pad. 🙂

There is just a single item that I dont really understand:

"UFCP WPT menu can edit data as WP or FYT."

What is the difference between WP and FYT? I tought they were the same. 🤔

Best regards.

Hi Rudel,

WP, any waypoint. FYT, Fly to Waypoint. FYT is the waypoint you are flying to currently.

All the best,

Sydy

FYT is FlY To, so when you edit it you're editing and selecting the navigation point.

Editing a WP only changes the coordinates in plane database. It doesn't select it as a dastination.

When you change the FYT on the WPT menu, it also changes the FYT on the main menu.

Our friend @Rudel_chw has produced extended version of the checklist. Here is pdf (printing enabled)

🙂

I guess with new version (thank you @Luiz Renault), new version of the checklist will follow soon

TUCANO CHECK LIST_V1.1.zip 2.52 MB · 1 download

Is that too much to ask if you can release a Night compatible version, with black background?

If you prefer, share the editable file and we can do it.

Thanks for the new update. Was the bump map layer activated or the texture now has the correct name as Normals. Anyway, I've made the effort to make lines and rivets more accurate. Rivets are now shown as elevations and the lines as joints. Two pictures for the display and the normals for download. Please integrate the texture into the zip in the texture folder.

We activated the bump map layer. Thanks. Will check it and include in next release.

Thanks for clearing that up .. I try to learn the aircraft in as much detail as possible 🙂

I loved the new bindings:

My HOTAS is programmed like a keyboard, that's why I use that column. It's unfortunate that many of the HOTAS bindings have no default keys, so I had to devise my own ... that makes it harder to share my HOTAS profile with people that have the same Hotas:

But anyway, thanks again for a great update .. I will now keep working on the training missions 👍

Is the airbrake mapping broken again in 1.8b?

The AI taking off works great.. Did a formation take off with an AI flight lead from Nellis AFB (my formation training location) and had a close call... Thought it was because of the adjustments to the FM and my lack of familiarity with the throttle response time... Until the second close call, when I notice that the airbrake was not deployed...  Checked my mappings and there all there...

I really like how this bird is going! The A29 team is doing a fantastic job! Very appreciated!!!

If you're with ventral pylon free and airbrake is not working, try binding it again.

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what does the DTOS sight mode option does?

CCIP Baro works if the selected FYT has the same altitude of the target. In that case, it can be more precise than CCIP R.

There is a CCIP Delayed mode that is being implemented.

DTOS does nothing at the moment. It's used for HUD target designation using FPM or a cursor controlled by TDC Slew.

All similar to the F-16

Hello,

The CCIP seems much improved on today's version of this aircraft, now I'm able to hit the targets with much more precision:

Here is a video of the Training mission that I'm editing (based on one I did for the Skyhawk a while ago), that shows the CCIP use:
