reading through this whole thread, I wonder when we'll be getting some more big metal floaty thingies..... It would certainly be nice to have some URS ships, Landing craft of various shapes and sizes, and even just some more combat vessels of various shapes and sizes.

We are desperately in need of WWII ships. There are some really decent mods out there, but I hate using them because of all the problems they create. Maybe ED could put some of the popular mods through a really rigorous quality control process before incorporating them as part of the official DCS World collection?

I love using User Mods, like these ones that I'm using for my A-4E missions:

Of course, if I edit a mission with user Mods today and then I came back two years later to re-fly it, the Mods may not be working anymore ... but guess what, most missions that don't use Mods, don't work well either after a couple of years, as DCS updates also renders them obsolete. So, I will keep using Mods and update the missions when needed, as they make missions more realistic and varied.

@Rudel_chw, based on the few photos I have seen from your posts, I really like your flare for mission building and the way you punch up the reality of the setting. I have a couple ideas that could probably really benefit from your talent.

I would also really love to see some of the great mods available be added to DCS World. Since Eagle Dynamics is so divided between its various on-going projects, maybe they could consider incorporating some of the mods out there to help speed things up. They could set the bar in terms of level of quality accepted, but let the indi dev worry about the rest.
