Sierra1
Why can't we have a free swiveling head (with mouse or TrackIr) from the commanders position in tanks and IFV's? I mean a view that does not drag any weapons with it. That would be much faster like the drivers view (LCntl+C) /Sture 1 Best Regards Sture Smidt DCS-flyer Find me on Facebook :joystick:
sergkar
With binoculars it's free mouse movement.

Yes, but it is still difficult to get a quick overview of the surroundings. Best Regards Sture Smidt DCS-flyer Find me on Facebook :joystick:
Tippis
There's also isometric view (I think that's what it's called in the binds?) — free look, and while weapons will follow the view as best they can, the looking around is not tied to or limited by them.
marginal
If you go to driver view first then isometric the weapon won't swivel either.
