Steel Jaw
So I managed to get the Warthog stick bit am still using my old x65 throttle. Is the Warthog throttle aby good and, also, can it be used effectively for the Hornet radar cursors? speed-of-heat
i had to use a third party hardware mod to make the throttle stick usable easily, but curves make it "workable" SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO
Drac
Yes, it can be used effectively for the Hornet radar cursor.
crash test pilot
The original slew nubbin is the weakest part of the WH throttle, but deltaalphlima is offering an inexpensive mod that works like a charm. https://deltasimelectronics.com/products/thumbstick-slew-sensor-adapter

You need the slew upgrade mod as crash test pilot mentions. It does wonders. The original is just crap (imo). For the rest, the throttle by itself is just fine. I find it overall a very good piece of hardware. Stick gimbals however... is just as crap as the slew is. Steel Jaw
I still have my Cougar TQS, is it better than the Warthog throttle...anybody know? Lange_666
I found the original slew axis on the Cougar better then the original on the Warthog. The only thing i always had problems with was that if i moved the Cougar throttle, the axis angles of the slew moved along. I always had to search a bit to where to move the slew to to move the cursor in the right direction. That's not a problem on the Warthog. Sidenote: How are you gonna hook up the Cougar TQS to your computer? Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600.
