Curious what these red waypoints are in ission planner

I noticed this a few times and was wondering if i could use these to help me plan. I see them on the planner and it looks like enemy routes

Hey, these are the 8x areas that are mentioned in the campaign's manual in the section about the victory conditions. 

One of your coalition's goal is to liberate these areas. 

We used the initial point markers just so that the player can use them as a reference while planning.

ahhh ok thanks

I thought the points you are referring to are the ones to the north where the first and second CAP missions are CAP 1 and 2
