E-boat Schnellboot type S-130 not available in Mission Editor

I am on Steam Open Beta version 2.5.6.60966 and I have Normandy map and WWII Asset Pack installed.

Using Mission Editor, regardless of the date (historical or modern - I have tried with periods of 1940-45, 2000, 2016) but I don't get Schnellboot type S130 listed as a Naval type option for Third Reich or any Axis countries. The only option available is Uboat VIIC U-flak for Third Reich.

I checked my Steam app folders and the files are there.

I read from the forum here that E-boat Schnellboot type S-130 and Type VII-С/41 were in the same release last year.

I have installed the WWII Asset Pack during the free-to-play period end of 2020 (not aware whether the S-130 was available then) and uninstalled it before the period ended. Then I bought and installed it yesterday - and tried to look for the S-130. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the asset pack via Steam but the issue persists.

Anyone else having the same issue? Or did I miss something.

Thanks.

I have opened up missions with Schnellboot units, which came with the Spitfire and Persian Gulf modules - eg. Spitfire(CW) - Persian Gulf-Maltese Convoy - Sink U562.miz. If I change the existing type (SBOAT ESCORT1) from "Schnelboot type S-130" to "Uboat VIIC U-flak" and save the change (not saving the mission file), I can no longer change it back to "Schnelboot type S-130" because the unit's type drop-down option does not list it as an option for Third Reich.

Like before, I cannot add a new Third Reich naval unit for Schnellboot.

Looks like no one else is having this issue.

Thanks.

Hi Fox,

That was it! I didn't know the watch icon toggles Historical mode on/off until I saw your reply here. I thought E-boats should exist regardless of the mode if the year was set sometime between 1941 and 1944.

Anyway, thanks a lot! 🙂
