AstonMartinDBS
Loadout: 4 x AGM-65F, 2 x AIM-120C, 2 x AIM-9M (without TGP) DCS: current OB 2.5.6.60966 Situation: roughly designating target area @WP1 via WPDSG; SCS to the MAV-DDI; hit undesignate button; slew seeker while TDC depressed; Behaviour: switching FOV works well until the MAV gets a lock; after lock the FOV cannot be changed sometimes - neither via "RAIF/FLIR FOV Select button" nor directly via OSB 15 on the MAV-DDI Is this behaviour a bug or intended? oldcrusty
I assumed this was range dependent. If you get pretty close to the target the MavF would not go to narrow FOV. I might be wrong though.

I used the Mav slaved to FLIR 99% of the time. So the Mav was pointing at the FLIR locked target long before firing solution was achieved. As a matter of fact, it was necessary to switch the Mav to NAR FOV to get the lock from a reasonable distance. I guess I wasn't able to switch the Mav to narrow when in close since it was already locked.

cdrkrotchetyusn
Sorry for the late reply, just got back in town from visiting my parents. It wouldn't slave to either.
