New clouds performance in VR mode

Any idea about performance of incoming clouds in VR? Any beta tests FPS leak? 😉

During yesterday's broadcast I asked in the chat about the performance of new clouds in VR mode, Bignewy replied that they have no influence on FPS.

Simply... due the detail I seen with new clouds I cannot believe it. Maybe 2.7 will be multithreared?

I have seen no performance hit so far in testing, I do have a pretty beefy system however 🙂

Thanks BN. I suppose you´ve tested 2.7 version. Please can you tell me if the not rendering some parts in one eye bug would be fixed in 2.7? We are with this issue since 2.5.6, nearly one year ago

I dont want to say to much yet, I will hold until it is in public builds, we are working hard on all current issues and new features for the clouds.
