Issues with weapons release

Weapons release mapped buttons do not function correctly. Can get weapons and guns to work if repeatedly smashing mapped joystick buttons and standard keyboard game assigned buttons. Just random response, no patterns noted for getting weapons to release when doing the kbd dance.

 

Running latest updated stable version of DCS. Have deleted and reinstalled the F/A 18C module with the same functionality results. I had no problems with this functionality when DCS first installed. Issues appeared after the late December upgrade roll out. (Base modules seem to retain all functionality. TrainerP51 works as advertised)

 

Any  suggestions or proposed fixes welcomed.

Do you realise, you should HOLD a release button, not smash it? You need to hold it for 0.5-1 sec.
