jeffreymg
I have had DCS on my computer for awhile but due to life’s work and family never really got into it. I am soon to be 67 years old and my wife bought me a TM 1600m Hotas for Xmas this year. My question is now I want to concentrate on DCS, what would be the best aircraft to use? BTW I own but have not flown most of them. Jeffg 1 Jeffrey Gerbert
AstonMartinDBS
Welcome to DCS @jeffreymg! 1 hour ago, jeffreymg said: My question is now I want to concentrate on DCS, what would be the best aircraft to use? I recommend you to start with the A-10C (II). The Warthog has a lot of systems and has access to a large arsenal of weapons. Once you've mastered the Hog, you can learn other modules like the F/A-18C or the F-16C fairly easily. See you in the air! [Modules] A-10C, A-10C II, AH-64D, F-14A/B, F-16C, F/A-18C, FC3, Ka-50, P-51D, UH-1H, CA, SC [Maps] PG, NTTR, Normandy, Sinai, Syria, TC [OS] Windows 11 Pro [PC] MSI Pro Z790-A, i9-13900K, 64 GB DDR5-5200, RTX 4090 24 GB GDDR6X, 2 x SSD 990 PRO 2 TB (M.2), Corsair 5000D Airflow, HX1500i, H150i RGB Elite, Acer X28, TM HOTAS Warthog (Grip@WarBRD Base), MS SW FFB2, Thrustmaster TFRP, TrackIR 5 & TrackClip Pro [Checklists] A-10C, F-16C, F/A-18C, AH-64D, Ka-50, UH-1H

Look at what you have already and pick the one that you find most interesting.
jeffreymg
That is my problem is the systems are so in depth that’s why I like the F-14 as you have a RIO to help. I have the F-14 but have not yet gotten a lot of time in it. jeffg Jeffrey Gerbert
