Pello86
Hi guys does the AV8B have the function to automatically change waypoints like the HSI in the Hornet ? If so, how do you do it? Also when taking off from a wet runway do you have the “RDRY” column mark or in marked as the training mission wasn’t very clear. XpRiV
Morning Sean, no mate, its only manual unfortunately. For the RDRY question, Dry or Wet refers to whether you are using water injection as in Dry = No water and Wet = Water. I might be wrong, hopefully someone else might correct me. Fri13
While the AUTO waypoint change would be nice thing, it seems that some pilots do dislike the idea. Why they prefer then to manually switch waypoint numbers. In Harrier it is at least easy as just pressing a button on stick. In the Hornet that is the RECCE EVENT MARK SWITCH. But in a Harrier that same button performs few functions: - Steps through waypoint/markpoint/target points. - Display alternative toggle (Backup mode) - Toggles track polarity. i7-8700k, 32GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 2x 2080S SLI 8GB, Oculus Rift S. i7-8700k, 16GB 2666Mhz DDR4, 1080Ti 11GB, 27" 4K, 65" HDR 4K.
