Chops
Hello, I would like some feedback on the best monitor to use with this graphics card. I am considering purchasing a 27" IPS 1440p and am wondering if this would be a good resolution for use with the 3070? Also what refresh rate would be best, 144hz or higher? I have not received my new rig yet, so haven't checked out the RTX 3070 ZOTAC TWIN EDGE OC yet. Do you think that it will provide good performance in DCS? Thanks for any help! Sn8ke_iis
Hey Chops, The 3070 will do great for DCS in 1440p or 4K. It’s roughly equivalent to a 2080 Ti. There’s a lot of good 1440p monitors out there these days. But don’t get your hopes up to use them in DCS above 60 FPS. TrackIR isn’t compatible with Gsync. There’s a site called rtings.com that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about your monitor or TV. 1 SimRig: Winter '18/19 Asus Maximus XI Formula | Intel 9900K @ 5.4 GHz Single Core, 5.2 GHz All Core | Nvidia/EVGA 3090 K|NGP|N @ ????
