Stryker Inconsistencies and feedback

Recommended Posts

I completely agree with the consensus that, a huge percent (let's just say 80) of CA issues can be solved with values tweaks and not new features. Armor value tweaks, weapons value tweaks, accuracy tweaks, adding a specific sight, which is already on other vehicles, adding thermals and NVGs to vehicles, which should have them.

The other 20% is fixing AI logic and reactions. All that can be done by working on what is already in DCS and honestly... it can probably be squared away in a relatively quick amount of time.

the ICV can take troops in DCS

ehhh. Sure, but its 100% scripting and the player can't actually do it.

Hi, other game comparisons are not helpful in this case. Real world examples are better.

thanks

Those examples are accurately modeled to depict real systems. I'm using them because they can be easily referenced.

Please be aware of our 1.15 rule

1.15 Discussions of other game companies products are not recommended as they can create personal friction with users who enjoy such products and potentially create issues with competitive manufacturers which is not helpful. We do not allow the reviewing of, or direct comparison of other competitive software here. Posting news updates or advertising other products or games is also forbidden (unless approved by an admin). Abuse of other companies and/or anyone related to those companies will not be tolerated. ED also reserves the right to remove any thread or post about another game or company it deems doesn't comply with this rule.

Which is why I say real world examples are better.

thanks

Though I guess we probably won't see something like it until we get higher fidelity gunner positions; right now when looking through a sight or optic, it doesn't look like you're actually looking through the actual optic if that makes sense, it's essentially the regular outside DCS camera with a reticule (which is typically accurate, at least for a some vehicles - the Stryker not being one of them).

If you compare how looking through a canopy is like (it actually looks like you're looking through a piece of glass) and how screens look (again, they look more like a screen) whereas CA doesn't.
