segax Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 Hello, my last post "Sometimes lagging sometimes not" had a lot of helpful answers, and i found out that i have only 20% CPU usage.. First of all if you want to help me you should read my last post.. I will post my PC specs there and all other things are in my last post... MY PC: GPU GT 1030 2GB DDR5 CPU I7 2600 @3.4GHz SSD 220GB (DCS) RAM 8GB DDR3 And the actual question is: "Why is my CPU usage at 20% while playing DCS?" speed-of-heat Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 Assuming you have hyper threading enabled that’s about right. you have four physical cores and each with two threads (so 8 virtual cores). Dcs is not able to use more than 2-3 cores at most. so I would expect your cpu usage to be 20-25%.. Oh, sorry i had to post this to other post because more people will se that, but thank you for answer, at least i know why is my CPU usage at 20%!
