dorianR666
hello, when performing the MAV scan pattern with Magic missiles on both wings, the width of the pattern should be 70 degrees according to manual: However when you test it in game, the pattern is far smaller horizontally - only about HUD's width. This makes the mode pretty much useless. If the target is outside HUD horizontally, the target will not be found. Not only is it not 70 degrees, but its not even those 40 degrees of one missile. Its much smaller than both. video: track attached mirage_mav_bug.trk Edited December 28, 2020 by dorianR666 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX
RAZBAM_ELMO
This was an assumption based on best guess info. Unfortunately the true parameters cannot be shown due to restrictions from the ADA and we cannot implement them. myHelljumper
So, what is the correct width currently implemented in the sim ? Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
Snappy
I don't understand this either? I get that you can't use real data due ADA restrictions. So the manual is your best guess info but the actual module doesn't match the values from the manual ? Regards, Snappy
dorianR666
The manual should reflect the ingame behaviour then. Most confusing. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX
