Rudder Question

Getting ready to purchase some rudder pedals.  Hoping someone who has flown a Tomcat will chime in...  Wondering how much travel the real rudder pedals have, and how much rudder was needed for things like the Break turn.  In trying to do it with a twist stick, I'm terrible.....   Does the plane need a little rudder or a lot in that turn....

I'm curious as well. I use Saitek Pro pedals with a curve of +20 and there are times when I only need to push the pedals 5mm in a turn. They seem unreasonably sensitive--as do the rudders on all DCS aircraft--but if I add more deadzone/curve I won't have proper NWS performance when taxiing.

Not an SME, but I've found that the Tomcat actually handles a little better with no curves at all.

Not an SME. I have the Thrustmaster pedals and only us a smidgen of pedal whenever flying the Tomcat.
