[FIXED] Crashes in multiplayer due to invalid memory access

Recommended Posts

I have been facing crashes when playing on MP servers. I could not really determine the specific steps to reproduce, but usually happens when

engaging bandits. The most reliable server to reproduce it 'til now was the Growling Sidewinder server.

Looking at the attached log it seems it's dereferencing some invalid pointer at the EFM debug handler as shown on the stack trace bellow:

I had around 6 of it until now, all in the same path.

I'm attaching the most recent crash dump, I can't upload the .trk file as it has 33MB.

If you provide me someplace to upload it, I'm glad to do so.

Also I think I recorded the crash in video, but I really need to confirm it.

so the fix will be coming in the next OB update?

yes, it should be.

fortunately, ED merged it (submit after deadline) into build for tomorrow update.
