imacken
Yes it is. Both CPU and GPU, but quite mildly. No problems with much more demanding titles than DCS, e.g. RDR2, Battlefield V and COD Cold War. In DCS I’m running at about 65 degrees and 60-70% utilisation on the 3090 and with the Intel utility O/C in the 10900K. can there be any other reason? Flappie
DCS is not always happy on overclocked PCs. Here are threads showing the exact same crash log wih solutions: This user removed OC and his crashes were gone. Another user bought a... powersocket with a net filter to end his crashes. EDIT: I've just found this recent thread: the user had to remove SSLR to stop the crashes. Do you use SSLR? Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. Ever. imacken
No, it's about the only thing I don't have on. Couldn't see the difference with it on. This is interesting, and very difficult to test for a solution as the crash happens only every few days. Most people I know on this forum overclock their PCs to a lesser or greater extent. If this was the issue, don't you think this sub-forum would be a lot busier? I don't know the answer! Kevstosmart
If this matters any I’ve managed to isolate my issue, and able to get it to repeat itself almost within milliseconds of each other when I start a heavily scripted (will peg that single core heavy) mission. Start go into F2 mode in a heavily dense airport (peg the gpu) to get both to draw as much as it can and Boom, crash. undervolt cpu and gpu I can get buy till there’s a hard usage spike and I randomly either CTD, or if its a complete psu failure it locks the computer up tried it 5 times in a row both each with a under volt I can last a bit without oc not even 2mins in the game or if I switch to F2 once I spawn in

Thanks. @imacken perhaps there were some windows updates done prior to the issue? obviously difficult to troubleshoot when it happens every few days. are you also getting 0xc0000142 error?
