I preordered F-16 and I have to say "way too soon" is quite accurate. I hope that Aerges can do better.

Thats a very fair statement. This is exactly why im looking for news and following this module so closely.

Considering the F1 has been in development for 6 years ...

Really? that long? .. I purchased the C-101 on January 2015 and don't recall any mention of the F-1 being in development at the time.

Anyway, what triggered my post was your saying that you "check here every day" .. 🙂

And yes I agree its naïve to be looking here every day, but this is just a great personal interest of mine. but I get what you are saying and why you say it.

I mean once a day is a joke. Once a month a bit less, once a quarter more realistic. IDK, nothing I've ever seen in DCS is released on time, based on what I have seen (3d models and some assertions) well, call me optimistic and call it 1 quarter late... Maybe it will be 2 or 3 Q's...

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

What do you mean by this?

No dev updates anything on a daily basis, especially small teams.

How is development looking? is the early access for the Mirage F1-CE still on track for late May early June? still looking forward to a new compilation of screenshots/information 🙂
Keep up the good work. Also here is a cool picture of a Spanish F1 with a Syrel ELINT pod and a pair of Remora jammers as well as a note on their effectiveness during a review on ECM used by iraqi F1s

Sorry, but the jammer pod under the right wing isn't a Remora, it's a BARAX 😉

This Mirage F1 is using a REMORA

Here is a good link, it's in Italian, but Google should help if needed 😇

In the announcement for the project which was posted on November 23rd last year they said 6 months so that's around late may/early June is when early access is expected

From what I could find reading about Spanish F1s, it looks like they did not use a TGP, not even the modernized M.

French F1CTs did use pods but that was 2000s+ I think, Moroccan ones also have modern pods now.

Before 2000s, it seems like only the Iraqi F1EQ, and only in its latest batch used targeting pods.

The French Mirage F1 never had Targeting POD. They used the Buddy lasing with the Mirage 2000 D, Super Etendard, Rafale. The F1-M did the same with the F18.

No the French used the ATLIS laser designation pod on the Mirage f1 and I am pretty sure they sold them to the iraqis

The F1 need a third party for laser designation, the ATLIS II was use on the Jaguar and Super Etendard.

I have several sources that say the Mirage F1 did carry the ATLIS II. The Wikipedia page on the ATLIS II mentions the Mirage f1 as one of the aircraft that carried the ATLIS. So does this other sight linked here http://www.airvectors.net/avmirf1.html  Here is a link to an article on upgraded Spanish Mirage F1s sent to Morocco it mentions they used laser pods, but not specifically which kind of laser pod. https://www.arabianaerospace.aero/mirage-upgrade-augments-new-fighter-force.html

I was refering to the French airforce, the Morocco MF2000 upgrade for F1 give an access to the Damocles pod. In the last case you are far from a F1, is more like a M 2000 with the airframe of the F1.

The French Mirage F1C-200s and CR did carry a variety of pods but I do not think laser designation pods were amongst them. ATLIS was used by export nations though for sure

I'm French and I know the F1 pretty well. They can carry GBU but they don't have any laser designation POD. Only a laser ranging system and laser spot finder for the F1 CT. Only the Irak air force used the ATLIS POD for the AS 30 and GBU. The Morrocan air force can potentially carry the Damocles but I don't know if they really have it.

If you want the best airframe you will have to cross your fingers for the F1 EQ5.

Sometimes Wikipedia his wrong, sorry mate.
