fitness88
After 20 minutes or so of flying multiplayer I began seeing 'connection timed out'. This started happening after the last OB update. Is this something at my end or is it server related? Thank you.

bengo
I've seen it on 4YA but it's been going on for quite some time for me. Does anybody know what the exact parameters are for triggering this event? I have a steady ping of less than 50 for this server, yet still I get timed out. I can fly no problem on AO for example. i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
fitness88
The server is Aerobatics online open beta.
bengo
Not 100% sure if it is solved, but I've read somewhere that turning on "QoS" on your router would fix it. So far so good, I've tested it twice on 4YA and the connection stays up ! bengo
For testing purposes, I've switched off the QoS on my router tonight, and sure enough, I got a time-out/disconnect after+- 5 minutes. Went back and enabled "QoS" and was able to stay connected on the same server. So, for me, it worked. i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
fitness88
QoS is on by default...the issue is with Aerobatics online servers, don't have this issue with others.
bengo
Strange, I've only experienced time-out's on 4YA, never on Aerobatics... i7 6700k/GTX1070-8G/MSI-Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon/32GB DDR4 Kingston HyperX PREDATOR DDR4 3000MHZ Vengeance 1600/TM Warthog #6106/Samsung SB350_S27B350H/OCZ Agility3 SSD 128GB / Win10-64/TIR5
fitness88
Now I'm starting to see the connection timed out occurs as a result of the server going offline and resetting.
