SUPER WORK FRIENDS

I have a problem with the nanny and the AI Rafale and Mirage2000:
the supply pole does not capture the basket

The planes remain in the refueling position, but the basket is not connected to the pole.

Bonjour Pappy2

This is why we tell you to completely replace the updates, because if you keep old files, in this specific case, the lua files,

you will be faced with this kind of problem.

Here is a refueling done this morning at 8:45 am with the 004. Have a nice day, we love you anyway ...

Hello Patrick,
thanks for your reply, but i still have the problem.
I have installed and therefore uninstalled the Rafale V004 Pack with JGSME, so I don't think it is possible for any files to remain in DCS.
This afternoon I redownloaded the Rafale V004 Pack, I reinstalled it in my "Recorded Games".

I still have the problem, the Rafale (AI) pole does not fit in the basket, it does with the Rafale nanny as with the KC135 and KC130.

Hi Pappy2.
You are right there is a problem on the Nanny probably due to an update of ED.
We had noticed it and retouched the settings of the Rafales to adjust them on the Nanny.
This caused an imbalance with the kc_130 and other aircraft.
Patrick is working on it we hope for a result soon...
Well seen my Pappy.

Salut Pappy2.
Bien vu mon Pappy.

I am happy to be able to participate in the improvement of your extraordinary work !  🖕💪 🖕

Bonjour ! Merci pour la version 004 ! cependant ça fonctionne plus avec le SU-33 comme avant ?

Oui, c'est exact, depuis une des dernières mis a jour de DCS, nous avons perdu la fonction de catapultage. Hélas.

Hi, I'd just like to share my thoughts on this new version.

The B and C variants still have the base of a tail hook.

The new pilot helmet is a bit better, but still looks like an oval.

The AASM "HAMMER" model looks much better, but the 3D model has over 442,000 triangles, which is A LOT. For comparison, the Mk-82 has around 6,000 triangles, the Mirage-2000 has 196,000, the F-15C has around 153,000, and the Su-27 has 146,000. This could be a big performance hit due to unnecessary detail.

"Critisizing is easy, art is difficult" (quote from a 18th century French actor, Philippe Néricault) ☹️

It suffices to say that the Rafale Mod from the Cuesta Bros is a must, the one and only one Rafale Mod for DCS....

Offered free of charge, and developed during their spare time, for the benefit of the whole DCS community. 😀

As mentioned, they are taking into account constructive comments and suggestions from the users.

And this gives rise to many improvements and new liveries from other devlelpers, e.g., Fill and Sushy. 😜

Many thanks to all of them. 👏

As the French say : "Respect !".

Fly low...

Guys, don't take this so personal,

Sérvalpilot    just pointed out stuff that he noticed and tried to help, I don't see it as bad criticism, and if he did criticize there is nothing wrong with that? It is actually good. As Patrick56 said (I used google translate so I might have understood it wrong) it would be useful if he mentioned that before they released 004.

We all think you guys are doing a great job, and thank you for that, try to use these kind of comments to improve your work rather than being angry about them.

Yeah; we all want this mod to be the best it can be, myself included, and I was just sharing my thoughts on how to make it better.

Guys I would like to share some of my testings in Liberation 4.1.1 with Rafale Pack 004...

So after lot of testing I was able to frag SEAD ESCORT flight in Liberation 4.1.1. Cascasus map,Batumi AB   Rafale B SEAD(Human Pilot-Client)/Rafale C AI   Escort...best way is to have escort allready airborn but also from ramp hot will work, they follow untill you engage AD and than will follow you back home, you can choose distance and type of Airplane to engage but best is to put all on distance 35nm.
You must be precise with name of the flight for escort to follow and put the same name for the mission when adding Perform task/Escort ,so far in single player

it works!

Usage of SCALP for SEAD/DEAD..

I allways put RED AD to Excellent therefore its not easy task to destroy AD but still you can engage all kinds of EWR or STR    SA2,SA3,SA5,SA6,SA8,SA11 from distance 150-180km and even SA10 unless they are guarded with SHORAD  SA 15/19(only HAARMs but also fast and high) those you can only engage high and fast over mach 1,2 only.
Hope this helps for guys generating Liberation campaigns !
Have fun.
