skypickle
Many of you have mounted pedals onto plywood to keep them from moving around. Others have used string or cables that tether the pedals to the chair. I started out this way but ultimately spent $10 for some hardware to fix the pedals to my chair so that the distance is fixed. Here are some pics. I couldnt stand the flimsiness so I got a piece of metal from Home depot and some bolts. The final product still looks kind of industrial but it works. It's adjustable. It holds the pedals at fixed distance and it makes even cheap ones like the Saiteks I have to work better. Now... to put some nyogel on those pedals... 1 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
xray-sierra
My pedals (same ones and just fine by me) just sit on a piece of carpet. They're kept in place and prevented from sliding forward by having a small wooden spacer between the baseboard and the back of the pedal housing. But I guess that setup could end up pushing your chair backwards, so you'd still need to strap your chair to the pedals.

jym
Mouse mats make excellent friction pads top keep one's pedals in place (both on carpet and hard flooring).
Mango
I use a rubber drawer liner under the pedals and replaced my wheel casters with static "feet". SharpeXB
Yes I use shelf liner as well. The rubber grip type. Works great even with these CH pedals which are very light https://www.amazon.com/Simplify-Adhe...s%2C278&sr=1-4 I use this with racing pedals, it’s brilliant! It’s fully adjustable to accept bolts from all styles of pedals https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N2F9YQN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | 24GB GeForce RTX 4090 | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR
Mango
Sharpe, that's exactly the one I use. It certainly does the trick, and cheapest flight-sim solution ever. lol
dburne
I picked up a refurbished Wheel Stand Pro at a decent price, and only use the base of it to mount my Crosswind Pedals to. They sell a Crosswind mounting plate for it. I recently got back into a racing sim, and got a full Wheel Stand Pro for it. So I can easily move my Crosswind Pedals out and slide my racing setup into place. Works pretty good for me.
