OPERATION ''HAUNTED GEORGIA'' MISSION 1 Red Side Room

OC - 01 - Prelude Conflict - Day One

----------------------------------------------------------------------

On 28 February Allied forces Intel showed military activity in Abkhazia Region and that there must have been some secret preparations in the Airbases of the area the last month. The airbases seem now ready for military use...

On the other hand Russian Intel shows that allied Aircraft reached to Georgian Airbases through low navigation to avoid radar detection.

Following this incident, the ambience in the region is similar to that during the Cold War and there are rumors that the two sides are planning and preparing preemptive strikes....

RED Task

0745 ZULU - 03/01/

We pick up high communication traffic from the Senaki Airbase. Our military intelligence has setup all airbase from Sochi-Adler down to Sukhumi-Babushara to high alert level.

Our Su-27 fighters are ready for immediately takeoff and have permission to intercept any threat, which try to enter our airspace.

When the fighter are over the area - the Su-25T have permission to enter enemy airspace and deal with SAM threats behind the Military Demarcation Line (MDL)!

Bullseye: Ochamchira City Center

(WP2 for Su-27; WP2 for Su-25T)

Scoring System

Every time an enemy aircraft fly into the Demilitarized ZONE (DMZ) or over the Demarcations Line (MDL) a message will showing up and say which sector is be violate (also the pilot get a warning message if he fly into the DMZ).

Both sides will know the rough location of any aircrafts over the DMZ.

If an enemy fighter enter the enemy airspace and stay alive, the side collecting points --> Each side need to protect their own airspace (marked as WEST, CENTER and EAST Sector).

If you (fighter pilot) stay alive in the enemy airspace, your side get 10 points/min.

If you shut down a fighter aircraft your side get 5 points.

If you shut down a bomber aircraft your side get 1 point.

If your destroy a SAM Radar or SAM Launcher vehicle your side get 25 points.

Final Result:

After 2hrs we will have a final result. The ratio will move the frontline for battle 2 (rounding up). The win will move the frontline into the DMZ and the loser must withdrawn (50% of the advantage of the winner side).

Example:

The DMZ is about 30 km wide and we have B: 120 vs. 80 :R (B 3:2), so the frontline will move 20 km into the DMZ (in prospect of Blue and Red withdrawn 10 km).

B: 120 vs. 60 :R (B 2:1),

Blue move the frontline 15 km into DMZ and Red withdrawn 7.5 km

B: 120 vs. 30 :R (B 4:1),

Blue move the frontline 7.5 km into DMZ and Red withdrawn 4.0 km

B: 100 vs. 40 :R (B 5:2),

Blue move the frontline 3 km into DMZ and Red withdrawn 1.5 km

And soon…

Q: why is the frontline move on higher ratio much smaller than on lower ratio?

A: if one side killed/destroyed much more than is opponent, he has also set more resource into the victory and don`t have enough resource to advance further into the DMZ!

MISSION 2

RED BRIEFING

1745 ZULU - 03/01/

We lost and withdrawn our troops frontline around 10 km away from the DMZ. We also lost a big number of our fighter aircrafts during these early fights, too. The fighter support for the upcoming ground attack is limited!

Our ground troops are starts to deploy their assets CLOSER to the frontline. Support structures and lines are prepared, too. Before we send our ground troops into action, we need to perform DEEP STRIKES against BLUE infrastructures to hit them hard and gather every advantage we can get.

The HQ divided the frontline into to three sectors. It is up to the local air force commander to call out the objects for the attacker.

Sochi-Adler (ATC: 137.0, RWY 06 (ILS:111.10))

RED BRIEFING

MISSION 3

0001 ZULU - 03/02/

During the night we had finished the deployment and the ground war machine is ready to roll. Our army is ready to roll from a line between Ochamchira (on the coast) over Tkvacheli into the mountains.

The bear is awake….!

At 0001 we start our counter attack south. The Fighters from Sochi have order to fly CAP over the ground attack troops (Bullseye: Center of Ochamchira),

Ka-50s from FARP Torba and Vektra protect the ground army on the way south,

Su-25T from Sukhumi are primary for SEAD, but could also very useful for battlefield illumination with (S-8OM)

A-10C from Sukhumi for attacking enemy ground units and provide close air support for own troops

The INTEL reports the FLET (Forward Line of Enemy Troops) is 11 km direct SOUTHEAST of the line Ochamchira and Tkvacheli.

Good Hunting.

S-80M is not ingame... There are 3 different S-80... :/

DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart

PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013

DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.)

We got a good run, pushed the blue ground units behind PL CHARLIE. And hold the important town of Chkhortoli and Achigvara. But we need to push the blue force further south.

Remember SEAD strikes are essential for further success for Air and Land war….

Red Briefing

1200 ZULU - 03/02/

The snow falling has stop, the weather will go better during the next hours, so we will start to make the fighter ready for takeoff and bring us back the air superiority over the battlefield.

But before this, our troops stand on the outskirt of GALI. GALI hold the communication knot for the whole area, north of the river Inguri.

To get the whole control over the area, we need to conquer this town soon!

Additional Notes for both sides:

Each ground vehicle have the weapon on HOLD, so you need to be in FP position to release the weapon (expect the mortar and AAA platoons)! We will have a respawn of units and groups during the mission!

Weapon Limitation for aircrafts to prevent civilian casualties:

No CBUs, Limited Number of GBU of each side, but more or less unlimited dumb bombs and rockets.

Also the HQ give us access to the new Laser guide Mavericks for A-10Cs, too.

Slot-Layout for both sides

4x Ground Commander

4x A-10C

4x Ka-50

4x Su-25T
