Cannot find a previous report, this appeared to start a few updates ago when the TGP was modified. It is now very low resolution and seeing targets at night is next to impossible in WHT or BLK modes.

Have you tried playing with the gain or contrast settings?

Of course. It's a resolution issue, but it seems like no one else is bothered by it.

The FLIR in real life is not a high resolution sensor, so some of that is realistic.

 

Recent updates have also enabled brightness and contrast adjustments of the video with the knobs on the DDIs. It's possible these adjustments aren't working properly on the MPCD, as FLIR video cannot even be displayed on the MPCD in real life. Give it a try and see if you have better results with the page on a DDI screen.

Please post a short track replay reproducing the scenario and we will take a look, but not having an issue myself, using contrast and brightness and selecting the correct sensor for the job is usually enough.

 

We are working on new FLIR for DCS but that is for the future.
