Stump [JOW]
Hey guys, quick question: I've noticed that VR performance in cockpit in the A10 is a bit choppy. Any one else notice this? If so. How did you fix it? Thanks!

Ziptie
Hey guys, quick question: I've noticed that VR performance in cockpit in the A10 is a bit choppy. Any one else notice this? If so. How did you fix it? Thanks! For me it actually seems smoother than the A10C "I" You might try deleting the FXO and metashader2 files if you haven't done so since the most recent update - see if that helps you at all. As another said, the A10C "II" seems to have better performance than the F/A-18C or the F-16C for me (in terms of FPS in cockpit). Robi Hobby
I have the problem too. It jerks so much in VR that I see black walls when I move my head quickly. System i7 7700k , 32GB RAM , RTX 2070 , Rift S
AlpineGTA
Yes, it's choppy for me too. I never had a problem with the previous A-10C before the Tank Killer upgrade. I'm guessing maybe it's to do with the extra processing required to run the new helmet mounted sight. i5-11600K CPU, 64GB DDR4 RAM, XFX Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon 6900 XT, Oculus Quest 2, HP Reverb G2
Robi Hobby
I have never done this before to delete this FXO and metashader2 data. Now the performance is much better and the Landscape looks clearer.
Pjay22
I'm not seeing any difference between the 2 modules in VR, get a reasonable 40ish FPS with VR on low settings. On each OB update I delete the contents of the FXO and metashader2 folders too so this may help. Off topic I know, but because of the diverse things you can do in DCS it's easy to get side tracked. I'll have another look at it tonight, unless I end up strafing trains with my Gazelle or something! :D i5-11600K CPU, 64GB DDR4 RAM, XFX Speedster MERC319 AMD Radeon 6900 XT, Oculus Quest 2, HP Reverb G2

Might also help you, depending on your machine. I never use it, and instead use Oculus Debug Tool for adjustments / options like that. Lange_666
Hey guys, quick question: I've noticed that VR performance in cockpit in the A10 is a bit choppy. Any one else notice this? Yep, here too. But only when sitting on the runway at start. I would not call it choppy. For me it feels like the entire cockpit shakes "around" me. It's weird. Don't have that in any other module, nor in 2D. Once in the air it's "almost" gone. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind combat pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
