Shimvolski
I just saw The new APKWS video and noticed on the dash the rope has returned that was there back on the original cockpit model from 2011. The rope wasn’t there on the laser Mav or gbu 54 video. Anyone know what that rope is for in real life. I am guessing to hold maps on the dash but my curiosity must be satisfied please! ramjet77
I always hated the look of that rope and now it’s back :)
Faelwolf
In these days of constant budget cuts and diversion of funds for congressional pet projects, there's a very good chance that the rope is there to keep the top of the dash in place, and you really don't want to know how much duct tape is holding the ejection seat together......... :D
