[BAD ALIGNMENT] INS question - no tadpole in hud

Hello !

 

I think I do something wrong but I can't find what. I'm in stable release.

 

When doing cold start, I choose Stor HDG INS alignment. When 10 RDY flash on the DED, then move the knob from Stor HDG to NAV for the EGI.

 

But, no tadpole to steerpoint in hud nav mode, no target box innhud either when I lock target in CCRP.

 

Any idea ?

Have you confirmed your starting coordinates on the DED during alignment? and you should turn the INS knob to NAV when the alignment quality is at 6 not 10. hope this helps

You don't need to confirm the coordinates with a stored alignment, and it has a maximum quality of 10. Confirming and 6 is only for the regular alignment.

 

For the OP it would probably best to record a short track and attach it here.

Ah yes, the bumping about due to the stores being loaded messes it up.
