jester224
Can you take a UH1 and land next to a player who has ejected and pick them up? Silly question I know but adding a little flavour to for our fast jet pilots. Good for scenario development to.
ebabil
Back in the time there were servers that you could do this. If a player is ejected, it had to be rescued and transported to a base. Otherwise he couldn't jump another plane. BaD CrC
If the server you are flying on is running a mission with a CSAR script, yes you can. Ejected pilots would pop up on the ground where their parachute landed and start to call for pickup while activating their beacon. Hovering long enough above or landing close enough will make him board the chopper. You can even block the aircraft slot to prevent the said pilot to respawn before he is actually rescued. Without CSAR, there nothing much you can do except landing next to the ejected pilot and pretend it boarded the chopper. And while you can move around your pilot after you ejected, it is not synchronized in MP. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

Ciribob's CSAR script creates an infantry unit at the ejection location for the CSAR helo to retrieve. The actual player cannot be retrieved. It is fun to eject at 25,000 feet and watch the CSAR helo retrieve your doppelganger below while you float down.
