upyr1
I know we're getting an Essex class carrier, but anyone know if we're getting any cruisers, destroyers, or battleships or what we'll have for the Japanese side? When the dynamic campign is out I want a carrier battle.

Devil 505
Oh god, my balls tingled when I saw "ships". I would love to see the future accelerated and more time put into full blown Naval modules. Even started a thread on it a while back I think. WW2 is the best place to start. Japan, Germany, and the US all had PT (Patrol) boats that would be a great intro into the naval module world. We already have a German AI one. Really looking forward to improved Navy operations at some point. I wish I knew how to code and work with Mods. I have these two beauties sitting 4 hours from me on the coast. They are both pampered pretty well and look amazing. The USS Stewart is one of 3 destroyer escorts left in the world. The USS Cavalla is the sub. I could get some amazing photogrammetry going for both if I had a way to program them into modules for DCS. When she returns, I also have the Battleship Texas down the road. She was moved to dry dock for refit. My grandfather served on her. PHENOMENAL ship. Edited December 9, 2020 by robert.clark251
AG-51_Razor
A CVE for the Corsair and any other US Navy carrier planes would be a priority of mine however anything from that era would be gladly accepted! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
rkk01
That’s ^^ not a WW2 condition sub though... Post war the RN and USN conducted a lot of research on the German Type XXI and XXIII subs - the result being surviving WW2 subs were heavily modified for Cold War service. USN boats were larger anyway, but the RN T class, for example, were lengthened and streamlined to provide more battery capacity, reduce noise and increase underwater speed. The T class conversions were very successful and conducted some of the early electronic intelligence gathering off the Soviet home ports...
