Achieving radar lock.

TMS UP

 

Pressing TMS UP once will give you soft lock. Pressing TMS UP again on a soft locked target will give you hard lock.

ALso the radar seems piss weak.

So you should also narrow the horizontal width of the scan otherwise you might not even be able to bug a target at all

I can bug targets just fine from a 4 Bar 120° azimuth scan. It just takes time to scan the whole airspace

Radar use will improve greatly when ED incorporate the Spotlight Scan functionality (TMS held FWD for a narrow rapid scan focused on the cursor position - bugs closest tgt upon release), add SAM Dual TGT Track....and fix TWS!

That will be nice as it's an inconvenience as is now.
