Gryzor
Anyone tried new Nvidia 451.48 WHQL driver? It seems a nice boost due support of Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling when used with the Windows 10 May 2020 Update

cercata
This HAGS is something that helps also in DCS? Potentially yes, for people with NVIDIA cards 10XX and newer. In theory it doesn't depends on the API used by the game. In another flight sim some people have reported better framerate and more stable. Edit: I have tryed, and I have a similar framerate, but with HAGS enabled I have some weird stuttering Edited June 25, 2020 by cercata

Revs
Just before I update, I have been playing basic mission I made and would get almost smooth performance while taxiing and looking to the ground to the sides at 36 fps. After the update, a 38-41 fps but it seemed like I am slamming the brakes every second. Almost acceptable stuttering but hesitates if that makes sense. Another thing I can’t directly link to the update was now my reverb shows flickering pixel noise on dark background that can be fix by moving about a pinch/kinked part of the headset cable. Will try going back to previous driver today. Motomouse
Most people report slightly higher fps, stutters and rendering bugs. Someone in Iracing reports more lost frames with HAGS on. (->stutters) I think time to wait a little bit before updating to a HAGS enabled driver. VirusAM
I failed to find good explanation on what HAGS is... If I understand correctly it has something to do with the video memory management, handled by the gpu driver itself and not the OS...but I would be curious to read more about it... Motomouse
I retried the game ready version of the driver and while I do not notice a better performance, I have no rendering or shadow clipping errors with the game ready version (unlike the studio version of this driver, the studio version did not work well on my box) VIC-20@1.108 MHz, onboard GPU, 5KB RAM, μυωπία goggles, Competition Pro HOTAS
speed-of-heat
I see absolutely no difference between this driver and the previous studio release driver on my box... Not tried HAGS itself yet, will do later, a good every person explanation: https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/06/24/nvidia-geforce-451-48-windows-10-hardware-accelerated-gpu-scheduling/ Hags itself should only ever be an factor if you have turned it on in the operating system. speed-of-heat
there seems to be a nasty conflict between Motion Vectoring/Smoothing and HAGS... I got a nasty set of "frame drops" where MV/S would cut in previously and in a number of places HAGS seemed to override MS/V giving me 60FPS... turning off MV/S "improves" the lack of conflict; but with predictable results in the VR space ... judder judder etc... not tried this in 2d SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
