The Nimitz encounters..

Recommended Posts

I’m very curious what my fellow virtual Hornet pilots thinks about these extraordinary events.

Personally i allways try to look for a more logical explanation, but these events truly blew my mind. Especially since the pentagon released footage and a press statement saying there phenomenon are indeed very real.

There a lot of "logical" explanations out there.

What I truly wonder is, has nobody done a DCS mission out of this??? joystick.gif With that old UFO mod, and now with the new tpod features I tried, but I didn't manage to detect when the player locks the "boggie" with the tpod, to trigger a sound or message or something :music_whistling:

What bother me the most about UFO,s is that people automatically assume that’s ufo,s are alien space craft. I’m open minded to the idea that they could be highly advanced drones perhaps by lifeforms we don’t know about yet, even from another planet, but it’s probably the last thing that would come to mind. It could be a phenomenon we don’t know yet, or a highly secretive drone project, though in the Nimitz encounters it’s highly doubtfull they would endanger pilots in such a way. But i filly understand why they went with the UAP designation for UFO,s after all the pentagon said they were indeed very real, but stressed that it was highly unlikely it’s of alien Orign...

Did you even bother to watch the Nimitz encounter video?

The video you posted would only explain the flir footage (which there is a much longer and clearer classified version of)

Also the whole carrier group spotted the multiple objects visually, on radar and on various other sensors). The objects could move from 45.000 to 100 feet and thousands of miles in split second seemingly competely defiant of the laws of nature and not even producing sonic booms .This was captured on radar returns as well promting the radar specialist to completly recalibrate the ships radar system thinking it was a glitch, only to find the same radar contacts even more clearer that before. Not to mention that naval aviators are expert observers and recieve training with millions of dollars to identity the objects in the air.

Also the incidents sometimes lasted weeks on end and on multiple occasions throughout the years. Even promting pilots to repot safety hazards Because the objects came so close and fearing mid air collisions ...

But... but, they haven't done the ultimate test or... perhaps they did:D

One Amraam followed by one heater. At least we would know the 'phenomenon's' defensive and possible offensive capabilities. Would Amraam's midcourse guidance from AESA radar and other gadgets be victorious over UFO's maneuverability? Would the deadly virus be released from the 'cylinder'? :music_whistling: What a waisted oportunity:doh:

I remember seeing an interview by someone from the pentagon in investigating these strange phenomenon and said if they somehow obtained the technology whitnessed by the Nimitz group they would definitely reverse engineer it ASAP. They said it had flight characteristics & insane acceleration ability,s that never has been witnessed before and it it’s probably made with some very exotic allows or materials to allow it to defy the laws of physics like that. Certainly not anything that is know to mankind at the moment. It’s estimated it would leap science by several 100 years if not more

Interesting is that these objects had the ability to jam the Hornets radar. And then suddenly leap to the CAP point hundreds of miles away in the blink of an eye. Allmost as if they were aware of the flights flightplan.

I would highly recommend Mover's video on the subject!

My personal opinion is that we don't know what the phenomena in these videos are, or that they're related, or that they jammed the missile's radar. It's a leap and a half to say that they're aliens or even that they're anything tangible. From a scientific perspective personal eyewitness accounts are one of the least reliable forms of evidence one could have. Also, I know that many people claim a radar contact disappearing then another contact appearing several miles away is depicting a single object travelling a great distance almost instantaneously in defiance of known physical principles. If one's explanation for this incident involves defying the laws of physics, however, I'd argue it's not a very compelling explanation. If you hear hooves, think horses, not zebras.

That all being said, I did enjoy watching the videos!

To get back on the subject the events inspired me to start a UAP study group named the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Global Research & Investigation group (UAPGRIG for short) in an effort to gain more understanding in UAP. We have about 250 members so far and collected and researched tons of interesting material & footage as well as an evergrowing scientific coverage of UAP by the scientific estableshment.

If anyone is interested then please feel free to join us.

Here are two links for our UAPGRIG Facebook page and one for our Facebook group.

It is a large universe out there and you would have to believe there are other “something” out there. But travel must be as hard for them as it would be for anything. If they can travel here I hope they are friendly, if not we are in a world of trouble. Until I see some concrete evidence I remain skeptical.

Unidentified Flying Object is in the eye of the beholder. indigenous tribes in south america have seen and shot arrows at helicopters. unidentified means unidentified. does not automatically mean visitors from other planets. but it could be

It's interesting to note that both the Nimitz and Roosevelt encounters happened primarily because of newly upgraded radar systems, and the upgraded radars were the only ones in the fleet that detected them. Clearly the objects did physically exist, but much of the "physics defying" behavior of them comes only from the radar data. Maybe the systems were still a bit buggy. If the data was not entirely accurate it could mean what seemed like a supernatural object that broke physics was really just an object with advanced capabilities very much behaving according to physics.

Or it was a secret government test of the new radar systems, which in the Nimitz case would explain the MIB showing up so quickly. Or a foreign government testing out a new toy on an American battle group, maybe aware or not of the new radar systems.

Or some previously undiscovered phenomena that suddenly became detectable with more advanced radar systems. Or an unknown entity that had developed countermeasures to all known radar systems but was caught unaware by the upgraded capabilities of the new systems.

Really there's so many possible explanations it's hard to even narrow down the possibilities with the information we have.
