unlikely_spider
Yep, I have DCS, cloud sim 2020 and the WW2 sim, and I'm in the cockpit flying in DCS much faster than the other two. It's pretty nice lately I've noticed. 1 Modules: Wright Flyer, Spruce Goose, Voyager
Zad Fnark
It's been nice cranking up the graphics too. Only downside is that I lost all my control setups. Gotta re-do all of them one by one.

Hoirtel
Is there a patch today/this week?
Eldur
Well, what does importing the old files change over leaving them there in the first place - I mean they are the same, literally. And why does DCS keep breaking those from time to time, without everyone being involved at the same time? Mine still seem to work so far, but I bet if I flew a module that I haven't touched in a year, its controls are back to default even with the profiles still there. Just had that with some of the WW birds a while ago...

I don't think anybody has a superiority complex about clicking on a pinned thread entitled "Patch Status" If you want to know the patch status, wouldn't it make sense for the "Patch Status" thread to be your first point of call? It's even pinned below this one. It's just that it's a question that gets asked a lot and the answer is always the same; there's no harm in asking, but the answer will always be the same - check the patch status thread. It's just you'll always be prompted to look at the patch status thread, as that's where the information on when the next patch is comes from, so in future, it's just best to check there instead - nobody will know any different. falcon_120
Well, actually is not that intuitive unless you are an old acquaintance here. The common logic would tell you to check the big first entry named "Official updates", but its not there but inside DCS World 2.5. It would be nice to have it in both (the Patch Status thead I mean), aren't symbolic links or hyperlinks a thing in this forum, so both are actually the same entry but posted in 2 places?

I agree that the first place you'd look as a complete newcomer would be official updates (which should include planned official updates). 52 minutes ago, falcon_120 said: It would be nice to have it in both (the Patch Status thead I mean), aren't symbolic links or hyperlinks a thing in this forum, so both are actually the same entry but posted in 2 places? Agreed, though I wonder if it's possible to pin a thread inside of another (I swear I've seen that on here)? So no matter the page you always see a separate, pinned reply at the top (maybe above the breakdown) - which can be a link to the patch status thread. Yes, there are both links like here (ie. for moved threads - every one with left arrow icon): https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/119-dcs-world-25/ and broadcasted notifications when needed but I don't think this one is a good use for a patch status. i3-10100F 3.6-4.3GHz, 16GB DDR4 2666, GTX970 4GB, SSD SATA3, 27" LCD FullHD, Win 10 Home 64 T16000M HOTAS, customTiR FC3, F-14A/B NTTR, PG Supercarrier
