DCS World Patch Notes Discussion Thread

I can't start DCS anymore since the update. I get an error message when I try to launch DCS now (see attached).

The message in english says:

DCS.exe - Application Error

The application could not been started properly (0xc0000022). Click "OK" to close the application.

I've already tried DCS Repair, but no success. I also replaced my DCS.exe with the one from here. No success either. :(

It asks me to enter the serial numbers of the Persian Gulf and Hornet, which do not have a serial number and says that the modules are not authorized in my account.

Just keep on trying..

and now?

still no luck. After showing briefly the two popups saying "Logging in ..." and "Getting authorizaton data" it keept saying

attachment.php?attachmentid=236254&stc=1&d=1589992921

Now, after a few more attempts, I managed to get DCS started. Went to the module manager to install the SC. During DCS restart, now I got the 502 error with a different text: "Failed to get authorization data. Error code is 502. Using saved authorization."

edit: but after clicking "Ok", DCS seems to load just fine.

First after launch DCS I've got this:

upqOVgK.jpg

Later I can Bind some of my older modules, but when launcher ask me to bind Gazelle or Spitfire I don't have serial numbers in windows... I can't find them in my profile at DCS site...

I started DCS an hour ago before the patch, and everything was ok.

Great job... again...

Going all the way in, past this 502 error message, going into module manager and enabling SC (if you have it), and restarting DCS got this same result, hit the 502 again.

But, after closing out of DCS and fully restarting computer, login worked clean with all modules enabled.

Good luck!

skipping all the failure messages to get into main menu, going into the module manager, downloading and installing the SC. Thereafter DCS wants to restart (as always) and everything went back to normal. It took more time to authorize the modules thereafter but in the end, everything was like it is supposed to be. Hopefully it helps you guys as well.

cheers

@ED, thanks to this update, and thanks for the Supercarrier.

But can we receive some information about Huey Multi-Crew? We somewhat have expected it to be available by today.
