Italian Airforce udes the G-91R1 version (one seat / one engine), G-91T-1 (two seat / one engine) and at last the G-91Y (two engines with AB). If they do all the historical weapons, that will also include gun pods, unguided bombs and the RS.20, which is basically a baby version of the RB-05 in the Viggen. The R3 will cary 2x30mm Aden cannons which will pack a serious punch, while the R1 and R4 will have 4x Brownings which will suck if the Sabre is anything to go buy. The sidewinder was not fitted on this version (only the G91Y had this capability) but of course fuel tanks, bombs, rockets and cannons will be part of its payload. Sayyy yess please.The Portuguese airforce tried to integrate the AIM-9 on the G91 without succes. They did some tests but the IR sensor never caught IR sources and then the missle was never shooted by this aircraft... Then we will have to retexture everything, but of course as soon as we will have something of good to show we will post it. stefasaki Posted April 27, 2020 Share Posted April 27, 2020 FYI there is already a VSN F-104, not with full F-104 cockpit, but lovely model unfortunatley that's just a reskinned F-15C from FC3....meaning that it has the same performances as the Eagle. Being able to land at 140 KIAS in the 104 is kind of an immersion killer, and that's why VSN mods are great but just for aircrafts with performances already similar to the eagle (i believe they can only change acceleration and a few other parameters). And this is also why we need a good F104 mod by FTV!! Btw I just cannot wait for the G-91 to come out! Great job so far!
