FETUS
Hey all. Got burned by an Ebay Seller on a Cougar HOTAS setup. Did a horrible job packing it and the VHF/UHF Antenna switch broke clean off. Anyone know if TM still sells parts for it? In process of a PayPal/Ebay Dispute but just wanted to see if it can be repaired. Thanks. https://photos.app.goo.gl/D9pT3Lhc59oABkZL6 Edited March 1, 2020 by FETUS

My roll gimbal snapped in half the other night and I have been going crazy looking for a replacement part.
Sokol1_br
https://photos.app.goo.gl/D9pT3Lhc59oABkZL6 Take small drill bit (1 - 1.5 mm) and make a hole in middle of part inside cap (HAT) and in part that remain in grip. Put a suitable length of steel wire in the hole, fix with CA. Same in the cap (HAT). I fix the same HAT in F22PRO TQS in that way. msmith301
For broken gimbal parts, and better alternative: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=195464 I saw that. Impressive but Damn!! :shocking: That would probably take me an entire weekend to do and with my luck nothing would fit right. Wouldn't mind if it was just replacing the mechanical parts but you start getting into the electrical and adding contact magnets. It's something I would only want to do as a project stick on the side while I still have my original to use. I JUST WANNA FLY!!! :cry_2: Edited March 1, 2020 by msmith301

Thanks, I just shipped it back to the seller to deal with. Will keep that in mind when I get another!
sideshow
These guys make a pressure sensing replacement for the cougar. Should replace the gimbals. I purchased their hall sensors for the stick and throttle. Works really good. vipergear.eu
Habu_69
I have a complete set of original Cougar gimbals with very little use, since I modded the stick to force sensing early on. Will sell them to highest bidder plus shipping. Let me know by PM.
