Membership is open to mature individuals at least 21 years of age.

Must have F/A 18C Hornet, F-14B Tomcat and Supercarrier.  Terrains used for missions are PG and Syria.

Our membership currently covers many time zones. Our primary flight times are every Tues and Thurs beginning at 6:00 PM PST (0200 UTC) with a dedicated Mission Night on Sat beginning at 6:00 PM PST (0200 UTC).

AG-51 is for dedicated DCS pilots looking for FUN and camaraderie within a Virtual Air Group. We strive to provide a relaxed, non-competitive virtual military combat organization. AG-51 seeks dedicated and focused DCS pilots who consistently show up and work well as a team. If you’re a lone wolf, your talents will be wasted and you will become frustrated.

I started flying with these guys almost 2 years ago now. AG-51 has changed how I enjoy DCS. When I started I only flew the SU-25t and I couldn’t even land it half the time. They took me under their wings and taught me so much in a friendly and unjudgemental way. We like our members to attend as many of our squad nights as they can but we understand that real life comes first and there are no attendance requirements. We have some really talented mission builders so we always have new missions to fly. So if you’re looking for an easy going squad to fly with, where having fun is the top priority, AG-51 is a good group to fly with. Some groups say they won’t make fun of you if you make a boo boo, that’s not us. If you do something goofy we will make fun of you. I know, I because I goof up a lot. But we always have a great time flying. Come fly with us for a night or two and if you like what you see then you decide if we’re what you’re looking for. All skill levels are welcome, from total beginners to seasoned veterans.

Quick follow up. We've had several pilots apply and just wanted to give some follow on instructions.

Once Registered, you will receive a "Welcome to AG-51"email within 24 hours. If you do not receive an email check your SPAM folder or let me know via PM on this forum.

Please follow the instructions in the email. If you need help, there are members that will jump on TeamSpeak and will help walk you thru the process of setting up SRS and other controls.

As the saying goes, "Fill your boots!"

The Hornet is an awesome beast. You're gonna love it! The pic is from a couple nights ago.

The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail...

Started flying with this group and it’s taken to the sim to a whole new level, just awesome and lots of activity to get involved in.  Fun group too and understanding when I overshoot and can’t manage to hold formation.  At the rate I’m learning with these guys I don’t think that’ll plague me for long.  Also love that flights are friendly timing for the west coast.

Well, Razor is West Coast and you know he's getting a bit little long in the tooth. Certain times of day he gets a kitchen pass ..and his Geritol....so he's ready to fly, which works out for us left coasters.

Where is Hoss from? And please don't say the Ponderosa. 🙂
