davidrbarnette Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Hi All, I seem to be having an issue with the Cage the Bear campaign. After starting mission 1, I'm immediately dumped to the map screen (the "F10" screen). I hit F1 over and over to no avail (yes, the key is functional and yes, it is mapped to cockpit. prccowboy Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 I'm having a similar problem with most F14 missions since the 2.5.6 update, including Create Fast Mission - the sim will start in map screen as if the player aircraft never spawned. Interestingly, in the HB Kish Kat Attack mission, it starts in map screen; However, after the 2 AI F14's launch from the carrier, the player F14 will spawn and you can start playing. kaba Posted February 17, 2020 Share Posted February 17, 2020 Hi there, This looks to be a bug with the latest OpenBeta. Carrier starts have been very much messed up. Until this is stabilised by ED I thoroughly recommend reverting to either the prior OpenBeta or to Stable.
