-0303-
Example: 1280x768 selected resolution. Mouse acts normal within window. LAlt Return to full screen (which is 1920x1080 for specific monitor) Mouse jumps away on first 1 click. In practice, everything needs to be clicked twice. After first click it seem to have "learned" it's place. Harker
I'm assuming that Windows runs at 1080p. The mouse in DCS behaves weirdly when run at a resolution different than the Windows resolution. If you can, I'd suggest running at 1080p and trying again. Flappie
100% reproducible. Play video in slow motion to better understand what's going on. Part 1 - Clicks are working great in windowed mode (despite lesser resolution). Part 2 - Two successive clicks are needed in Fullscreen mode (Alt+Enter). red "click!" = click not taken into accont green "click!" = click taken into account Don't accept indie game testing requests from friends in Discord. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 2, 2021 ED Team Share Posted February 2, 2021 Hi all, this is a known issue, DCS likes the game resolution to be the same as the desktop resolution. I will ask the team about it, I am not sure if this can be changed. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? -0303-
It did not jump with 2.5.5. On the other hand 2.5.5 was not clickable cockpit. No going back there. Obviously I'd prefer clickable cockpit to work. It's fixable if DCS choses to prioritize resources for it. -0303-
The good news is with 2.7 this is fixed. The bad news is clickable cockpit is gone (again) (full screen monitor resolution differing from game resolution). Actually it looks like back to the 2.5.6 (err I mean 2.5.5, I think) situation. With a new twist. Going back from full screen to windowed the clickable stops working correctly. What happens is the click position is skewed upwards. On my 32" screen I have to click ca 5 mm higher up. As noted I vastly prefer the minor "cursor jumps" to not having full screen "clickable cockpit".
