bkthunder
Was wondering what AV8B related material can we look forward to in the Feb 14th Beta update? They have been working hard to fix all the bugs and add all missing features. They will release it all at once. Shrike88
Seems the changes and news and media updates on the harrier really slowed down the last several weeks. Nothing really new unless it relates to the CAS page.

Marsvinet
Well, if you've read stuff on the forums, you can see that Zeus has been doing some general bugfixing. That will most probably be in. If there is anything else, well, we'll see when the patch drops.

Konovalov
Well in the absence of any official response from Razbam I guess we will only have a matter of hours to find out because BIGNEWY has just confirmed here that patch is coming today. Quite frankly I would be surprised if there is much coming our way in terms of the Harrier. Which gives me hope that someday the Harrier might get one too and won't feel as a drone in VR On that note Tim did post the WIP shots of the harrier pilot. If memory serves it took a month or two from seeing those for the M2k pilot for it to make it into the game (I could be misremembering that though). Zeus67
AV-8B NA development update: Overlay 1 is now enabled. Flight plan route is now visible. Next step is NSEQ (non-sequential) routing. Ramsay
AV-8B NA development update: Overlay 1 is now enabled. Flight plan route is now visible. Looks good. Any time scale on fixing the ground track so it displays correctly when using Magnetic bearings ? i.e. in your picture WP 03 is at 34°M for 94.8 NM The TRUE ground track looks to be ~35°M i.e. there's either a crosswind or the heading is a degree or two "off". ... but graphically and numerically the ground track is shown as 41°M and looks as if the aircraft is being blown +7° off course (this is because the value/vector isn't adjusted for magnetic variation). I realise the NATOPS manual uses the words "TRUE ground track" but "TRUE ground track i.e. taking crosswind, etc. into account" is not the same as a TRUE bearing, especially when the rest of the EHSD is displaying magnetic bearings. ATM the EHSD "ground track vector" only displays correctly i.e. where on the map the aircraft will fly/deviation from planned route; when the EHSD Compass uses True Bearings. Zeus67
Air refueling zones. Tankers can be expected to be here. Up to three zones can be defined in the ME. The mission builder must place the tankers. These zones are informational only. NSEQ navigation towards the target. The violet line is the ingress route and the yellow the egress. The point where both lines join is where the target is located. This mission also includes air refueling zones.
