The 1st VFW is recruiting for a new class.

 

After a year hiatus getting things setup, we're finally ready to go. We have limited openings based on Instructor Pilot availability (shown below). New members select an IP schedule that works best for them from the list below.

 

1. GMT/European slots are full - will update when available again

 

2. F-16, 2x Openings - Guam

Tuesday and Thursday 2000-2100 ChST (1000-1200Z)

 

3. F-16, 1x Openings - Eastern

Wednesday 1800-2000 EST

Friday 1900-2100 EST

Sunday 1300-1400 EST

 

4. F-16, 2x Openings - Mountain

Wednesday and Thursday 2000 MST (Thursday and Friday Mornings 0300Z)

 

Requirements to join:

-18 years or older

-Own at least one of these modules for initial training: F-16C or F/A-18C

-Can ramp start your primary aircraft

-Are not a member of another DCS squadron/wing

-Willingness to learn and do some homework on your side before training flights

 

What we offer:

-Detailed training docs and SOPs

-Two 24/7 dedicated servers (training and deployment servers)

-1:1 Initial training (6 to 8 weeks) with a dedicated Instructor Pilot on our SOPs and the basics so that you feel comfortable participating in weekly flights

-Complex missions and mature atmosphere while still recognizing this is for fun and not taking things too serious

-No rank structure and no interview. Just need to know how to start the jet and we'll train you on the rest.
