we will focus on bugs in MP and try to fix them before next update

we noticed that several players can have CMS issue fixed after repairing (both standalone and steam versions)

please first try to repair dcs or reinstall jf-17 and see if problems resolved.

self radar alt as backup height source

Fixed rada hpt/spt need more check: radar elevation range check

Add smoke generators support for pilon 1/2/4/6/7, default 'T' key assigned to turn on/off smokes.

Limitations for turn on smoke generators:

EMMC MUST be in NAV mode;

gun MUST be deactivated;

FCS WOW signal MUST be off

Tweak AA missile TOF/TOA, limited by rocket power system time and life time, not hardcoded

Tweak C-802AKG narrow FOV axis controll speed, more quickly now

Tweak C-802AKG gain/level control, by OSB buttons or keys sensor up/down/left/right, for game play

Restore kneeboard map

Notice: the path for DPLAYER and Customized Warning sound sdef/audio files has been changed.

1. DPLAYER: \Sounds\sdef\Cockpit\DPlayer\

2. CE: \Sounds\sdef\Cockpit\Warning\CE\

3. Don't forget to change the audio path in sdef file

RAlt + J can take control of a battle station (no weapon). Then player can open/close the dock door by moving the view in azimuth. We also researched how to drive the 04A into the dock, unfortunately, the current collision model doesn't support it well.

**** regarding f-16c/fa-18c receiving launch warning when jf-17 launch sd-10 under TWS mode ****

After our investigation and test, we found that:

  • missile command-link (SDK API) + SD-10 with non-scheme: f16/f18 has launch warning
  • missile command-link (SDK API) + SD-10 with AIM-120 scheme: f16/f18 has NO launch warning
  • NO missile command-link (SDK API): f16/f18 has no launch warning
  • Only f16/f18 has launch warning, FC3 and others not

 

We've reported the issue, and ED's still working on it.

So we decide to use AIM-120 scheme for SD-10 to temp 'fix' this launch warning issue.

The reason we don't turn off missile command-link is because:

1. the missile command-link is needed for intermediate guidance for AAM.

2. without command-link, the AAM will become an ObjectID-guided missile.

3. it's an API provided by ED for a long time, and also AAM scheme is future

4. if there's CCRP solution but greater than 15s, only 1/4 from top is solid but the left still dashed

5. if the CCRP solution is reducing from 4s to 0s, the bar starts to change to solid line on the left 3/4 part

6. if the whole bar is solid, the bomb will be delivered
