Runway headings

Hi all,

Probably a dumb question so I apologise in advance.

When doing an ILS landing (A10C) you need to know the correct runway heading for the HSI. (I believe I am right on this but happy to be corrected, new to the game).

Where is this info available whilst in fight without looking at the F10 map and using the distance tool, its not in the knee board notes as far as I can see and you cant pull it up on the CDU divert page.

Thanks

Tim

Indeed they are in the kneeboards. Using the bracket key(s) to scroll pages.

Thanks Don,

Indeed they are along with deviation.

No worries, always happy to assist! Quite a lot of detailed info in the kneeboards, and for user made missions - can often be even more good stuff in there.

Cheers,

I wish there was an easy way to remove all of the airport kneeboards not needed in a mission /flight. There's too many to scroll through.

It can be a little annoying, but I'd personally prefer to have all local airport data available in case of an emergency than saving a few extra seconds. It wouldn't be so necessary if guard frequencies were actually working, but as it is right now, unless you have the kneeboard page, you don't have any info on tower frequencies, TACAN, ILS, RWY headings, elevation etc. There's always the F10 map, but I'd rather not use it, personally.

There is a kneeboard page marking system that allows you to set specific pages as marked and then controls which only rotate through the marked pages.

Is this within the stock DCS software, or is this a utility that someone has created to apply to DCS? Haven’t personally heard of it (which doesn’t mean much as I am no way shape or form SME for the umbrella of DCS).

Would really like to do this though, for my flights in DCS (MP and SP hopefully)

Thanks for any reply.

Cheers,
