Hummingbird
Question: Is there a difference in the amount of speed related trim required in pitch between these two ingame? I ask as someone mentioned this, but I can't really discern it myself, however can't rule out that the Chinese use a less aggressive artificial pitch up in their SAS. AeriaGloria
I asked Deka specificaly if there were any PFM differences and they told me it is exactly the same as Su-27, can’t re,ember the thread Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com

LJQCN101
No difference IIRC. The flight control system is also the same IRL. EFM / FCS developer, Deka Ironwork Simulations.

LJQCN101
however can't rule out that the Chinese use a less aggressive artificial pitch up in their SAS. https://www.doc88.com/p-3857487861687.html An interesting paper, titled "Su-30 test flight evaluation" by a test pilot from China Flight Test Research Institute (中国飞行试验研究院), in 1997. He was sent to Russia to test flight the Su-30 before China can make a decision whether to buy the aircraft. The flight control computer could be the СДУ-10У. On page 3: 飞行马赫数在小于0.85的范围内变化时,飞机具有自动配平功能,飞行员几乎不用使用调校去配平杆力。 Translation: When changing speed below Mach number 0.85, the aircraft has an auto-trim function. The pilot barely needs to re-trim the aircraft. Edited October 17, 2020 by LJQCN101 EFM / FCS developer, Deka Ironwork Simulations.
